Since our incorporation in 2001, we have been providing security services to a large number of companies across the U.K. Specialist security has sufficient breadth and depth to be able to offer a bespoke service. We can provide man guarding, patrols, signage and/or electronic security. The electronic security includes CCTV and alarm installation, monitoring and a prompt response. A 24 hr manned control room exists to monitor the alarm and CCTV activations. Vehicles deployed in the field are able to respond to security breaches alerted from the control room thus providing a seamless service. This feature also gives us the benefit of a time management system. Guards must ‘log in’ every hour, this ensures their Health and Safety and provides reassurance to our clients. A number of our clients and projects are listed on our attached brochure. We are a Security company with sites that run between Swansea and Oxford. We are one of very few South Wales companies listed on the Government’s own Approved Contractor Scheme, introduced by the Security Industry Authority. The accreditation gives our clients confidence in our procedures and assures them that all our guards are vetted to BS7858. In addition to this we are ISO9001:2008 certified, CHAS accredited and we are members of the British Security Industry Association (the hallmark of quality within the Security Industry). Our guards are SIA licensed and they receive Specialist Security’s own Basic Job Training.

Construction sites are dynamic and dangerous places so Specialist Security Co Ltd employs a NEBOSH certified Quality Manager. The QM conducts monthly ‘site surveys’ and following each audit he submits a report indicating any potential security or H&S concerns.
